If hidden defects (e.g., structural rot, termite damage) are discovered during the work, we reserve the right to pause work and provide a revised quote. Free Quotes: While initial quotes are typically free, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee for remote locations, which will be disclosed prior to the visit.
Clear the Area: Remove all furniture, plants, and personal items from the deck area prior to the scheduled start time. Access: Provide our team with access to the property, including outdoor water and electrical outlets. Pet Safety: Ensure all pets are secured away from the work area for the duration of the service.
A deposit may be required to secure a booking date and cover material costs (e.g., oils and specialised equipment). Final Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of the work unless prior arrangements have been made. Late Fees: We reserve the right to charge interest on any overdue accounts in accordance with Australian consumer law.
In the event of rain, high winds, or extreme heat, Sydney Deck Maintenance reserves the right to reschedule the work to ensure the quality of the finish and the safety of our staff.
We provide a guarantee on our workmanship. However, we cannot guarantee the longevity of a finish if the timber is already structurally compromised or if the client fails to follow maintenance advice. Natural Variations: Timber is a natural product. Variations in grain, color, and absorption of oils are normal and are not considered defects. Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sydney Deck Maintenance is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.
